Sunny Flowers
08:17
two bulky sunny flowers for the summer, approximately 10 cm with a 2.70 hook, can be used as applique, maybe even coaster. and there are leaves, too.
FIRST FLOWER
(the one above)
color A: orange
color B: yellow
R1:: with color A, 10 sc into a magic ring, close round with sl st (10 sc)
R2:: 2 sc in each sc around, close round with sl st (20 sc)
R3:: change to color B, *ch 6, sk 1 st, sl st in each of next 2 ch's, ch 4 (this is the petal)
now sk 1 st from petal base, and sl st to next sc on the orange circle* repeat 20 times, finish off
you'll have 20 petals in total. note: when you're done with the first 10 petals, just continue skipping stitches, they'll be occupied by previous petals anyhow - insert hook from the back of petals to get the same look as in the picture.
