Here's everything you need to know:
Skill level: easy to moderate.
Size: About 10”/25 cm from top of head to tip of feet.
Yarn: Red Heart Detroit Yarn for BLACK and other types in
RED (about 25 g) and WHITE with similar weight.
Hook: I used 2.70 mm for extra tightness.
Do not join rounds. Mark the last stitch of first round and
move the marker up with each round.
HEAD
Stuff the head as you go.
With BLACK
- 6 sc in magic ring
- *Sc in each of next 2 sc, inc in next stitch* around (8)
- Sc around (8)
Change color to RED
- *Sc in each of next 3 sc, inc in next stitch* around (10)
- *Sc in each of next 4 sc, inc in next stitch* around (12)
- *Sc in each of next 3 sc, inc in next stitch* around (15)
- *Sc in each of next 4 sc, inc in next stitch* around (18)
- *Sc in each of next 5 sc, inc in next stitch* around (21)
- *Sc in each of next 6 sc, inc in next stitch* around (24)
- *Sc in each of next 7 sc, inc in next stitch* around (27)
- – 14. Sc around for 4 rounds (27)
15. *Sc in each of next 7 sc, sc2tog* around (24)
16. *Sc in each of next 6 sc, sc2tog* around (21)
17. *Sc in each of next 5 sc, sc2tog* around (18)
18. *Sc in next st, sc2tog* around (12)
19. Sc2tog around (6)
Sew shut.
EARS x 2
With RED
- Ch 5, turn
- Skip 1 stitch, sc 4, ch 1, turn (4)
- Skip 1 stitch, sc 3, ch 1, turn (4)
- Skip 2 stitches, sc 2, ch 1, turn (3)
- Skip 2 stitches, sc 1, ch 1, turn (2)
- Skip 1 stitch, 1 sl st (1)
Sl st down along the left-hand
side until you reach the first row (the initial ch-5 – along which you will sew
the ear onto the head).
Finish off, leave long tail for
sewing.
Embroider with BLACK.
BODY
With RED
- 6 sc in magic ring
- Inc around (12)
- *Sc in next stitch, inc in next stitch* around (18)
- *Sc in each of next 2 sc, inc in next stitch* around (24)
5. – 21. Sc around for 17 rounds

ARM/LEG x 4
With BLACK

Finish off, leave long tail for

With WHITE

- Skip 1 stitch, sc 54, ch 1, turn (55)
- Skip 1 stitch, sc 54, finish off (55)
To get that knitted look, put on
with the wrong side up.
Assemble parts.
